3 Ingredient lemonade scones

Yes... you heard me right, only 3 ingredients! These scones are so easy to make & turn out so light & fluffy. With COVID restrictions still in place in Melbourne, I've enjoyed turning to baking therapy as a way to have fun in the kitchen & take my mind off other things. These scones are totally worth while & the best part is loading them up with your favourite toppings! My ultimate combo is raspberry jam & homemade vanilla bean whipped cream! Happy baking x

3 Ingredient lemonade scones recipe Makes 10-12 scones

Total time: 25-30 minutes

What you need:

1 cup lemonade 1 cup thickened cream 3 and 1/2 cups self raising flour

How to:

Preheat your oven to 180 degrees fan forced. Line a large baking tray with baking paper & set aside. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together with a knife. Once combined, dust your bench top with flour & begin to knead the dough for roughly ~5 mins. Using a rolling pin (or just your hands) flatten & roll out dough to a round shape around 3cm high. Cut out your scone shapes using a round cutter or a knife. Place scones onto your baking tray closely to each other (this helps them to rise evenly). Lightly brush the tops with milk & bake for 15 minutes or until golden on top. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
