Broccoli and Cauli Bake

Broccoli and Cauli Bake

1/2 head cauliflower, cut into florets

2 heads broccoli, cut into florets

1-1.5 cups of milk of your choice

3 tablespoons wholemeal flour

1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup parmesan cheese

Sprinkle salt and pepper

Preheat your oven to 180 degrees fan forced. Bring a large pot of water to boiling and steam the broccoli and cauliflower florets until softened, but still a little bite to them. Meanwhile, make the white sauce by heat the olive oil and wholemeal flour, stir until combined, then gradually add the milk and whisk until thickened. Turn off the heat, add the steamed broccoli and cauliflower to an oven proof dish and poor over the white sauce. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
