Cinnamon Apples

Some soul warming cinnamon apples to kick off your morning. Put them on top of oat bowls, as a toast topping or just eat them on their own.



I’ve paired them with cashew butter on sourdough toast this morning hope you enjoy and stay cosy!

Cinnamon Apples

4 apples, chopped

1 tablespoon coconut oil

2 tablespoon water

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 tablespoon maple syrup

Pinch of sea salt

Heat the coconut oil in a saucepan on medium heat until melted, add the apples and mix well to coat with oil. Add 2 tablespoons of water and cook for 5 minutes. Add the cinnamon, maple syrup and sea salt, mix well to combine. Cook for another 5 minutes or until your desired softness and serve. Refrigerate the remaining apples in a glass jar and reuse for the next day. Enjoy!
