Banana & Choc Hazelnut Muffins

Banana & choc hazelnut muffins

Makes 9 large or 12 small


2 cups plain flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 eggs

1 cup raw sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla bean extract

1 cup extra virgin olive oil

3-4 overripe bananas, mashed

4 tablespoons your fave choc hazelnut spread - I’ve used @pana_organic but feel free to use the good old @nutella_anz


In a medium bowl, combine the wet ingredients and mix together. Add the dry ingredients and fold through. Pour half of the batter into your muffin pan, they add a teaspoon of choc hazelnut spread to each. Top with the remaining batter and an extra teaspoon of choc hazelnut spread. Make a swirl on the top using a fork or tooth pick. Bake on 180 degrees fan forced for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through. You can check the centre with a tooth pick to make sure. Let them cool for 5-10 minutes. Now enjoy!
