the BEST homemade fries

These are the best fries that I’ve ever made. Nothing beats hot and crispy fries with crumbly feta cheese on top. Loaded with garlicky, herby flavour and a hint of chilli. This is my most popular recipe to date, and I don’t blame you for loving it! Find the recipe below, it’s super easy and you will love.

Baked Feta Fries

4 large potatoes, skin on

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup crumbly feta cheese

1 tablespoon garlic paste

1/2 tablespoon chilli paste

2 tablespoons lightly dried parsley

Sprinkle salt and pepper


Preheat your oven to 180 degrees fan forced and line a large tray with baking paper. Cut the potatoes into fries shapes and place into a large bowl of cold water for at least 1 hour. Drain and dry on a clean cloth or paper towel. Toss the potatoes with olive oil, garlic paste, chilli paste and 1 tablespoon of lightly dried parsley. Evenly spread out on the baking tray and bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden and crispy. Serve with crumbled feta cheese on top and extra lightly dried parsley. Enjoy!
